About Paige

Paige Wyatt is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist providing virtual therapy to clients located in Texas, Hawaiʻi, Arizona, and Colorado. As a United States Coast Guard veteran, Paige is especially passionate about working with military members, veterans, first responders, and their families who are navigating the unique challenges that can come with service, trauma, transition, and relationship strain.

During her six years of service in the United States Coast Guard, Paige was honored with the 2013 Coast Guard Women’s of the Year Award for her service during a time of war. Her military background informs the direct, solution-focused approach she brings to therapy today. Paige understands firsthand the culture of service and the complexities that can impact mental health, relationships, and identity both during and after military life.

Paige’s first priority is ensuring clients feel safe, respected, and like equal partners in the therapeutic process. As a seasoned telehealth provider, she offers the convenience of virtual sessions designed to meet the needs of busy professionals, couples, and families.

Paige works with individuals and couples facing trauma, relationship challenges, and major life transitions. She also has a focused interest in women’s hormone-related mental health concerns and the ways hormonal changes can impact mood, relationships, and overall emotional well-being.

Her clinical work integrates several evidence-based approaches, including the Gottman Method for Couples Therapy (Level 2 trained), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). Paige also offers discernment counseling for couples who are uncertain about the future of their relationship and want a structured process to gain clarity before making major decisions.

Paige’s therapeutic style is interactive, collaborative, and direct. While compassionate and supportive, she is also honest and straightforward in her approach. She believes therapy should go beyond surface-level conversations and instead focus on identifying patterns, building practical tools, and creating meaningful, lasting change.

Clients who work with Paige can expect a structured, goal-oriented approach that balances deeper emotional work with real-world strategies. Whether navigating trauma, strengthening a relationship, or working through a challenging life season, Paige works alongside her clients to help them build healthier relationships, process difficult experiences, and move toward lives that feel more aligned and sustainable.

Clients who are a good fit:

The practice tends to be a good fit for individuals and couples who are ready to actively engage in the therapy process and are looking for both practical tools and deeper personal insight. Many of the clients I work with are:

• Military members, veterans, or first responders navigating the impact of service, trauma, or major life transitions
• Couples who feel stuck in patterns of conflict, disconnection, or communication breakdown
• Individuals processing trauma or difficult past experiences that continue to affect their present relationships and emotional well-being
• Women experiencing hormonal changes that are affecting mood, stress levels, relationships, or overall mental health
• Couples who are unsure about the future of their relationship and want a structured discernment counseling process before making major decisions
• Young adults and college students navigating identity development, life transitions, relationships, and increased stress or uncertainty about the future
• Professionals who appear successful on the outside but are privately struggling with anxiety, depression, ADHD, OCD, PTSD, or burnout

My approach works best for people who are open to honest conversations, willing to examine patterns in their lives and relationships, and ready to actively engage in the work of healing. This includes processing past trauma, developing healthier coping skills, and learning new tools to better manage emotions, stress, and relationships moving forward.

Before You Reach Out:

Many therapists offer a free consultation. I’ve intentionally chosen a different approach. In my clinical experience, 15 minutes does not provide adequate time to thoughtfully assess your concerns, determine therapeutic fit, or offer meaningful guidance. Rather than rushing that process, all new clients begin with a full 55-minute initial session. This allows us to explore what’s bringing you in, clarify goals, and determine whether working together feels like the right fit.
